Job summary

Goodwill Southern New England is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor to assist the Store Manager in daily retail operations, including customer service, donations processing, and pricing of items for sale.

You will help unload trucks, train new employees, maintain clean and safe work areas, and ensure accurate cash handling and end-of-day deposits. Regular weekend, holiday and evening hours are typical in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and communicate effectively with customers and employees.
• Prior experience in retail or donor processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and donors in a timely, courteous manner to ensure excellent service.
• Maximize processing of donated goods through sorting, pricing, and presentation for sale.
• Maintain neat, clean, and safe store environment and report hazards.
• Help unload trucks and assist with training new employees.
