Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provides change to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive customer experience.
• Engages customers, greets, assists with products and services, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains store keys, opens back door for deliveries, and supports vendor ordering.
• Registers all sales, documents scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Reviews order exceptions, assists with reverse logistics, and supports displays and pricing.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities across departments and stockroom.
• Follows Outdate program, maintains pricing signage, and handles basic pricing and local compliance tasks.
• Assists with bookkeeping, cash reports, and ledgers; supports maintenance and cleanliness of store.
• Separates food items per policies, manages stock rotation, and ensures proper product placement.
• Knowledge of store systems and equipment; supports pharmacy window as requested.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws for regulated products and bag checks for team members.
• Adheres to company policies and completes special assignments as needed.
• Attends training and completes PPLs as requested by Manager.
• Serves as liaison between management and team members when store management is absent; reports disciplinary issues.
