Job summary

Burlington Coat Factory of TX, LP is seeking a Service Manager to lead the store team, coach a Cashier and Customer Service group, and oversee daily operations. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, protecting assets, and driving results.

You will guide Supervisors, manage the receiving process, and support staffing, training, and succession planning, while communicating with District and Regional leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations in a large or multi-unit setting.
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience with scheduling and reporting software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams to ensure policy compliance and asset protection.
• Provide guidance to Supervisors to maintain smooth customer flow at registers and execute store SOPs.
• Oversee receiving processes including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks; partner with Receiving Supervisor on inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and model leadership to drive store results.
• Support staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning as needed.
