Job summary

Burlington Coat Factory Whse. Corp. in Washington state seeks an Operations Service Manager to lead customer service, cashier and receiving teams, and oversee the store's day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and policy compliance.

You will act as MOD, mentor staff, support staffing and training, partner with district and regional teams, and ensure accurate inventory while upholding Burlington's values and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience in a multi-unit retail organization
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
• Experience using scheduling and reporting software

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensuring policy compliance and smooth customer flow at registers
• Manage the overall receiving process including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks
• Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) and drive leadership by example to achieve store results
• Support the Store Manager in staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning
• Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management teams will be part of daily operations
