Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of store leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and automotive knowledge is a plus, including ASE certification and Spanish language skills. The position is on-site at our Preston, Idaho location.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and multilingual abilities.
• RSS Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, etc).
• Ensure telephone is answered per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipments.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedule; manage clock-in/out and deviations.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
