Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This role may assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• Retail sales experience preferred; automotive knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Oversee purchase orders, transfers, and shipments ensuring timely communications with customers.
• Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store and manage end-of-day procedures.
• Coordinate with management to schedule and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and maintain store security.
