Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers with sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role will also assume shift management in the absence of leadership. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes leading by example in customer engagement, supervising service programs, and ensuring smooth daily operations and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and related orders, and contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately, applying correct refunds and processing stock accordingly.
• Verify all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and coordinate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to schedules, clock-in/out policies, and secure store closing procedures.
