Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service, store appearance, and operations as part of the store team.

The role includes supervising customer service, processing transactions, handling buy online/ship to store, returns, and ensuring accurate invoicing while managing shift duties in absence of management.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge preferred.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Spanish language fluency is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, etc.).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
