Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a dedicated Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role also assumes shift management in the absence of leadership.

Responsibilities include leading customer service efforts, supervising in-store programs, handling buy online/ship to store orders, processing returns, and ensuring accurate invoicing and secure cash handling.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Handle store calls and ensure telephone policy compliance.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Process returns and exchanges efficiently, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and communicate Zipline messages as needed.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, manage money deposits, and secure the store at end of day.
• Perform other duties as assigned and take shift-management responsibility when needed.
