O'Reilly Auto Parts in Iowa is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Lead a team to deliver excellent service to retail and professional customers, manage service programs, and ensure accurate processing of transfers, orders, and returns.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and execute service programs.
• Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties prior to leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Enforce posted work schedules and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties including end-of-day cash handling and security checks.
