O’Reilly Auto Parts in Urbandale, IA is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role also carries shift-management responsibilities in the absence of managers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Desired: Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure program execution.
• Answer phones according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store transfers and communicate shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Ensure returns are processed friendly with correct refunds and proper staging.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
