Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of managers.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership and customer service experience
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
• ASE Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Oversee telephone calls and ensure policy-compliant responses.
• Manage buy online/ship to store orders, transfers, and DC add orders with timely communications to customers.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently with proper payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and security procedures are followed.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and ensure Zipline messages are communicated.
• Ensure staff clock in/out, follow schedules, and complete day-end procedures.
• Perform all opening/closing duties and security procedures as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
