Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role may involve shift management in the absence of store leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge desirable.
• ASE Certification desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and assign Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
