Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role includes shift‑management duties in the absence of managers, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

The position focuses on leading a store team to deliver exceptional customer service, oversee showroom service programs, handle orders, transfers, returns, and ensure accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

• Required: Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Manage buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges and ensure refunds are issued accurately.
• Invoicing of all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clocking in/out.
