Job summary

New Balance is seeking Retail Sale Associates to ensure in-store operations run smoothly and deliver exemplary customer service. You will use expert product knowledge and selling techniques to assist customers through every step of the transaction while positively representing the New Balance brand.

The role emphasizes helping customers find the right NB products, educating them on features and benefits, and maintaining a clean, well-organized store floor.

Qualifications

• Past retail experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model.
• Understand the customer's needs and educate the customer on product features and benefits.
• Solve customer problems and answer questions; close sales with effective techniques.
• Correctly measure and fit customers with appropriate NB product.
• Inform customers about promotions and keep the floor neat, organized and well stocked.
• Attach/detach security tags, monitor floor merchandise and report shrinkage or security violations.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents promptly.
