New Balance is seeking Retail Sales Associates to ensure smooth store operations and deliver exemplary customer service. You will use expert product knowledge to assist customers through every step of the transaction, representing the New Balance brand with professionalism.

Ideal candidates possess strong communication, teamwork, and cash-handling skills, and are willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Prior retail experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to perform basic math quickly.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed.
• Stand for extended periods and navigate a retail floor.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and make contact to assess needs.
• Educate customers on product features and benefits.
• Provide exemplary service and resolve questions.
• Process sales with suggestive and effective closing techniques.
• Measure and fit customers with appropriate New Balance products.
• Inform customers about promotions and store policies.
• Keep floor neat, organized, and well stocked; ensure items are labeled properly.
• Protect products by tagging and monitoring displays and reporting shrinkage.
