Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Leader to support the Store Manager in maintaining standards, coaching teams, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will lead POS operations, oversee in-store programs and events, and ensure timely order fulfilment across BOPIS and same-day delivery channels while driving sales growth and loyalty engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure legal compliance.
• Ensure adherence to policies, maintain store conditions and results.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout usage to support smooth transactions.
• Oversee balloons, events, loyalty program enrollment, and omnichannel order fulfilment.
