Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Newport, KY is seeking a Retail Full Time Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience.

You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach team members, and ensure SOPs and brand standards are consistently met while delivering strong KPI performance and a seamless omnichannel experience for customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced store environment and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team to execute SOPs and company programs.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS, Self-Checkout, and omni-channel order fulfillment (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards, MCC/Extend protection plans, and in-store programs.
• Support Knit & Sew Shop, Custom Framing operations, and other departments as needed.
