Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager at our Florence, KY location to lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will drive key sales and service KPIs through coaching, strong leadership, and efficient daily execution across front-end and service operations.

You will champion loyalty programs, manage omni-channel tasks (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery) and partner with framing and other departments to ensure brand standards and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and operational continuity.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems to support transactions and customer service.
• Oversee in-store programs like Balloons, birthday parties, and Knit & Sew Shop activities.
