Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for our Temple, PA store to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience.

You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach staff on brand standards, and ensure daily execution of SOPs to meet KPIs. Responsibilities include managing MOD coverage, optimizing POS and Self-Checkout usage, and driving omni-channel initiatives while promoting loyalty programs and service

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Strong customer-focused coaching and selling behaviors.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced store environment.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture across the store.
• Oversee front-end and service operations and ensure brand standards.
• Coach team on customer experience and ART of Selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage and maintain operational continuity.
• Drive omni-channel initiatives (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery) and loyalty programs.
• Promote protection plans and Extend services to customers.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
