Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for the Philadelphia area to lead a high-performing store team and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will drive sales, coaching, and daily operations to meet KPIs while upholding brand standards and SOPs. Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS system mastery, and coordinating store programs like Balloons, framing, and loyalty enrollments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing front-end and service operations.
• Ability to coach, train, and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion selling culture to improve KPIs.
• Ensure SOPs and company policies are followed.
• Model customer experience and selling behaviors for the team.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout usage to support transactions.
• Drive omni-channel services (BOPIS and Same Day Delivery).
• Promote loyalty programs to drive retention and visits.
• Collaborate on special in-store programs (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, framing).
• Protect assets and reduce shrink through awareness and procedures.
