The Michaels Stores in Plano, TX is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture storewide. You will drive sales results, oversee front-end operations, and coach the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and brand standards.

You will support the Store Manager, ensure SOP compliance, manage POS/Self-Checkout, and champion omni-channel services including BOPIS, Same Day Delivery, and loyalty programs. Strong leadership and coaching required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience driving sales and service KPIs.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations.
• Oversee in-store events like Balloons, parties.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program.
• Drive protection plan offerings.
• Drive Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar.
• Ensure BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support Custom Framing operations.
• Train and develop team through onboarding.
• Asset protection to reduce shrink.
