Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for its Plano store to lead a high-performing selling culture and drive strong sales and customer experience.

You will oversee front-end operations, coaching, and day-to-day execution of brand standards and SOPs to meet KPI targets. Responsibilities include leading sales initiatives, managing POS and Self-Checkout processes, and coordinating store programs like BOPIS, Same Day Delivery, and Loyalty.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience coaching selling behaviors and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion selling culture across the store.
• Coach team on SOPs, policies, and brand standards.
• Provide manager-on-duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Oversee front-end, service operations, and omni-channel tasks.
• Drive sales, protect assets, and reduce shrink.
• Promote loyalty programs and in-store events.
• Support framing and Knit & Sew Shop operations as needed.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding.
