Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager in Cedar Hill, Texas to lead a high-performing store team and deliver strong sales with an engaging customer experience.

You will oversee front-end operations, coaching on selling behaviors and brand standards while ensuring SOP compliance and daily execution. Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS operations, loyalty enrollment, and managing in-store programs such as Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, and Custom Framing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Able to lead SOPs and company programs.
• Provide MOD coverage and strong customer focus.
• Oversee store programs (Balloons, Knit & Sew, Custom Framing).

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion selling behaviors and brand standards.
• Drive sales, service KPIs and customer satisfaction.
• Coach and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing training.
• Ensure accurate use of POS, Self-Checkout and omni-channel services.
• Manage in-store events and loyalty program enrollment.
