Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager at our Missouri City, TX location. This role leads a high-performing selling culture, drives strong sales results, and ensures an engaging customer experience across front-end and service operations.

You will coach teams on transforming customer interactions, maintain store standards, and execute omni-channel initiatives while managing day-to-day operations and coverage as MOD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to coach customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Strong knowledge of SOPs and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and service operations with attention to brand standards and operational expectations.
• Coach team on Customer Experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS, Self-Checkout, and omni-channel service execution.
• Drive Loyalty Rewards participation and MCC/Extend services adoption.
• Support Knit & Sew Shop, Cut Bar, and in-store events execution.
