Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Sales Manager for the Springfield, VA area. You will lead store operations, champion customer experience, and drive sales while ensuring brand standards and SOP compliance. The role includes MOD coverage, POS oversight, and omni-channel service to deliver consistent results.

You will coach and develop team members, oversee in-store programs, and uphold asset protection. Flexible hours include nights and weekends as indicated in the posting.

Qualifications

3+ years retail leadership experience.
Proven ability to coach and develop a team.
Ability to drive sales and service standards.

Responsibilities

Lead adherence to SOPs and company programs; ensure legal compliance.
Model customer experience and selling behaviors to boost conversion.
Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations for smooth transactions.
Drive omni-channel service (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery) and loyalty programs.
Train and develop team members through onboarding and coaching.
Maintain asset protection practices and reduce shrink.
