Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager in Chambersburg, PA to lead a high-performing retail team and champion exceptional customer experiences across front-end and service operations.

Responsibilities include coaching selling behaviors, managing SOPs, and driving omni-channel initiatives such as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery while promoting loyalty programs and protection plans. Night/weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure adherence to policies and store conditions.
• Coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for transactions and customer support.
• Oversee Balloons business, birthday party operations and in-store programs/events.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and visits.
• Champion MCC/Extend services and protection plans.
• Drive sales and omni-channel service for Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar experience.
• Ensure efficient BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution.
• Support Custom Framing operations and frame shop coordination.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
