Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team in delivering exceptional customer service, managing daily tasks and ensuring a safe, well-stocked store. The role encompasses coaching, performance management, and coordinating with other departments to meet sales and service goals.

The position requires flexible availability including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, plus the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and engage in physical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 3 years retail experience or 5 years retail experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of Pro customer support experience (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams.
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide resources and tools to support associates helping customers.
• Assist with down stocking, area recovery and merchandising decisions.
• Coach employees on safe behaviors and lifting techniques.
• Lead and enable a team to deliver the best customer experience in-store.
• Supervise associates across departments when needed and communicate upward on concerns and morale.
