Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates and deliver an outstanding customer experience in-store.

You will coach and train staff, delegate tasks, monitor performance, ensure department coverage, and maintain safety standards. Some shifts may include opening/closing the store or serving as MOD, with occasional travel to meetings or trainings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or 5 years of retail experience.
• 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting or supervising teams.
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functional.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach associates to deliver customer-focused service.
• Delegate daily tasks, follow-up on duties, and manage performance.
• Ensure adequate department coverage and assist customers.
• Support store safety through walks, hazard reporting and lifting guidance.
