Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates, drive exceptional customer service, and manage daily store operations. You will coach staff, oversee merchandising and area recovery, and ensure safety standards are followed, with occasional MOD duties.

The role requires retail leadership experience, strong communication, and proficiency with store systems. Some travel to nearby stores may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of retail experience OR 5 years in retail.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams.
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience.
• Coach and train associates, delegate tasks, and monitor performance.
• Assist with down stocking and area recovery and merchandising input.
• Monitor safety and lifting directions; coach safe behaviors.
• Occasionally open/close store or serve as MOD.
• Travel occasionally to meetings or support neighboring stores.
