Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates and deliver exceptional customer experiences on the sales floor. You will coach staff, manage day-to-day tasks, ensure department coverage, and uphold store safety standards.

You will also handle customer interactions, support merchandising decisions, and may occasionally open/close the store or act as MOD, with travel only to meetings or trainings as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting the unique needs of Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsabilités

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best possible customer experience in the store.
• Coach and train associates, delegate, and manage daily tasks and performance.
• Ensure adequate department coverage and oversee customer-facing and non-customer-facing activities.
• Oversee safety walks, hazards reporting, and lifting directions.
• Communicate best practices to the team to inspire customer-focused behavior and achieve goals.
