Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor in the United States to lead a team of associates, deliver top customer service, and ensure the department is clean, stocked, and safe. You will coach staff, coordinate tasks, and support merchandising decisions to meet store goals.

This role involves floor supervision, opening/closing, safety walks, and cross-department cooperation. You’ll communicate with leaders, monitor performance, and help maintain a positive, productive shopping

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of retail experience OR 5 years retail experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year experience supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams.
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience.
• Coach and train associates, delegate tasks, and follow up on daily work.
• Manage department coverage and safety; conduct safety walks.
• Greet customers, clarify needs, identify solutions, and close sales.
• Supervise associates in other departments as needed to meet store demands.
• Occasionally open/close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
• Travel to meetings/trainings or support neighboring stores when required.
