Job summary

Michaels Santa Barbara, CA store is hiring for a customer service associate. You will help shoppers find products, provide fast checkout, handle cash, and enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.

You’ll also assist with omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Responsibilities include stocking, performing truck unloads, executing planograms, and supporting store recovery to keep shelves in stock.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Must be at least 16 years old per company policy and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties.
• Maintain stock and recover merchandise to keep shelves in-stock.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
