Job summary

Michaels is looking for a friendly team member to assist customers, guide product selection, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and store recovery to keep an in-stock, well-merchandised store.

As part of our team, you’ll educate shoppers about rewards, credit options, and omnichannel offerings while maintaining standards and safety protocols in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift and move merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Operate checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Maintain stock and shelving, complete truck unloads and planograms.
• Support store recovery, in-stock levels, and loss-prevention programs.
