Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for a high-performing store in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will lead selling behaviors, coach a diverse team, and ensure exceptional customer experiences across front-end and service operations.

You will drive omni-channel execution, loyalty enrollment, and in-store programs while upholding brand standards and SOPs. Prior leadership in retail is required, with a focus on delivering strong store results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion selling culture across the store, ensuring strong customer engagement and performance.
• Provide MOD coverage, supervise front-end and service operations, and uphold store standards.
• Coach team on POS and Self-Checkout usage for smooth transactions and customer support.
• Drive loyalty program enrollment and promote MCC/Extend services to boost retention and add-on sales.
• Oversee specialty areas (Knit & Sew Shop) and omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skills-building.
