Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager for the LA-BREA, CA store to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations, ensure brand standards, and execute daily store activities with excellence.

You will coach and develop the team, manage SOP adherence, and optimize POS/Self-Checkout usage. The role includes driving loyalty programs, omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery), and events

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations to achieve KPIs.
• Strong customer-focused coaching and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure policy execution and store conditions meet standards.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations for smooth transactions.
• Drive omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Promote loyalty programs to improve retention.
• Support protection plans and extended services.
