Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Retail Personal Banker I candidate. You will complete a 4–8 week onboarding with rotations in operations and Sales & Service to earn a certification and advance within the Retail Personal Banker family.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, acquiring new households and deepening relationships, with risk awareness and strong customer focus. Training includes bank center and outside sales activity as part of the platform staff.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience with transferable skills.
• Experience in financial services or banks is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new customers.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process to identify financial needs and build customer profiles.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and suggest solutions.
• Reach out to customers using CAM P and other tools to set up periodic financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to the existing customer base and engage in outside sales activities.
• Collaborate with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment partners as needed.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals and contribute to branch revenue.
