Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and oversee key optical and lab processes. You will assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, and support sales staff while also serving as an alternate store key holder.

In lab duties, you may custom-fit glasses, set prescriptions in lenses, and ensure compliance with optical standards. You will help elevate knowledge and safety across the team and labs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Strong optical & retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise.
• Strong inter-personal skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Sales skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Leadership & training experience.
• Edging & mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge & optical measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed Customer Service.
• Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, assist sales associates.
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• In Lab (if applicable): Custom fits glasses and places prescription in lenses.
• Work with associates to strengthen knowledge and certification for lens and lab processes.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Create a safe working environment; demonstrate safe work practices.
• Responsible for basic operation, cleaning and maintenance of lab tools and systems.
