Job summary

LensCrafters seeks a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and manage key optical and lab processes. You will assist customers with selections, offer recommendations, and serve as an alternate store key holder.

In the lab, you will custom fit glasses, ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards, and train staff on lens and lab technologies, while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
• Strong interpersonal and sales skills.
• Basic math skills; familiarity with cash registers.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver unsurpassed customer service in-store.
• Assist customers with selections and provide recommendations.
• Serve as an alternate store key holder.
• In lab, custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses.
• Coach staff on lens and lab processes and safety.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain lab tools and ongoing safety practices.
