Northern Tool + Equipment is looking for a Retail Operations Team Lead to greet customers, keep the floor stocked and organized, and support store leadership with daily operations. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service and operational efficiency.

You will promote credit offerings, assist with service protection plans, and help ensure a smooth in-store experience for tradespeople and weekend warriors alike.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Ability to lead, guide and mentor store employees.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Love of tools & equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 Lbs.
• Service focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to best serve the needs of our customers.
• Lead and execute key operational functions to ensure store efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall store readiness.
• Maintain a neat and orderly store environment including merchandising, planograms, product displays and stocking shelves.
• Lead by example, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Support store leadership by serving as Floor Leader (about 25% of time) and opening/closing the store.
