Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment in Little Rock is seeking a Retail Sales Team Lead to greet customers, provide solutions, and help manage day-to-day store operations. You will lead engagement and sales while performing as a sales representative, ensuring clean, organized floors and effective merchandising.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience, leadership ability, flexible weekend availability, a love of tools, and strong communication.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of retail experience.
Ability to lead, guide and mentor store employees.
Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
A love of tools & equipment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to lift 70 Lbs.
Service focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, professional service to best serve the needs of our customers.
Lead customer engagement and sales efforts while actively performing the role of a sales representative.
Maintain a neat and orderly store environment including merchandising, planograms, product displays and stocking shelves.
Lead by example, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
Support store leadership by serving as Floor Leader (an average of 25% of time) and opening and closing the store.
