Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee to gain hands-on experience across sales, merchandising and operations inside a Buckle store.

You will work with the Store Manager to develop sales, recruiting and leadership skills and to train Teammates while delivering the Buckle guest experience. This program emphasizes leadership, customer service and operational excellence, with opportunities to cover shifts, manage the store in the Manager’s absence and prepare for future Store Manager

Qualifications

• Experience in sales-driven retail environments and guest service.
• Ability to lead and train Teammates with a mentoring approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coaching Store Teams.

Responsibilities

• Sales generation and guest service with a focus on legendary experiences.
• Recruiting, training and developing Teammates to standards.
• Visual merchandising and maintaining store presentation.
• Operations: scheduling, opening/closing procedures, loss prevention.
• Provide leadership in Manager's absence and participate in Team meetings.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to prepare for Store Manager responsibilities.
