Job summary

Bath & Body Works in the New York area is seeking a Supervisor to partner with the Store Manager to develop outstanding associates, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and drive store growth. The role emphasizes coaching and developing teams, executing opening/closing routines, and maintaining safe, engaging retail environments while meeting performance goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering results in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Supervisory experience in retail preferred.
• Customer-first mindset with ability to coach on the floor.
• Flexible to work peak days, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Act as Manager on Duty as needed to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with Sales Leadership to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
• Perform opening and closing routines including deposits, shipments, and disseminating company directives.
• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback to managers.
• Lead in-store customer experiences through selling behaviors and product knowledge.
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to improve selling and customer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and the visual appearance of the store, with physical activity as required.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
