Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a part-time Key Holder to help lead store teams and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will develop product knowledge, drive sales, and support leadership with daily operations, merchandising, and POS transactions.

The role emphasizes customer-centric service, strong communication, and collaboration with management to achieve store goals. Flexible schedules and travel to nearby stores may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts to meet business needs including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Become an expert in our product categories; communicate product knowledge to the customer.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals, including units per transaction, average dollar per transaction, item add-ons and customer information capture rates.
• Be informed and understand current merchandise promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist in floor moves, display maintenance, merchandising, sales setup, and store housekeeping.
• Assist with processing merchandise as well as monitoring and replenishing floor stock.
• accurately complete all sales transactions and maintain cash/media accountabilities at POS registers.
• Develop skills and improve metrics by partnering with store leadership.
• Complete opening and closing procedures to company standards and follow Time and Attendance policy.
