Job summary

Toast is seeking a Retail Account Executive to join a founding team expanding our Toast Retail platform for convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops. You will prospect, build relationships, and sign new accounts in an assigned territory, delivering customized solutions to help businesses thrive.

You will use a consultative approach, run demos, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery matches the sales promises made.

Responsibilities

• Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores and bottle shops
• Generate lists of prospective stores and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close
• Conduct demos and develop a solution that meets the prospect’s needs
• Partner with teams across the business to ensure delivery matches expectations set during the sales process
• Leverage Salesforce (CRM) to manage all sales activities
• Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast in the market
