Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a front-end leadership role to oversee a team of Associates in our Jamestown store. You will model outstanding customer service and ensure smooth front-end operations, including POS coverage and training new associates.

Ideal candidates bring retail experience and leadership exposure, strong merchandising knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to train others.
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote an excellent customer experience.
• Oversee a team of Associates at the front of the store ensuring prompt, courteous service and loyalty programs.
• Assign registers, coordinate breaks, and ensure proper POS coverage.
• Address customer concerns promptly and maintain a positive experience.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promote loyalty programs and participate in shrink reduction goals.
