Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking a part-time Sales Lead to assist the Store Manager, drive sales, and coach the team on the floor in Canton, OH. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes energy, ownership, and delivering great customer experiences.

You’ll support daily store operations, coach teammates, and ensure execution of company standards while engaging customers and contributing to store success.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holder role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions to customer interactions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Keep the store organized, customer ready, and running smoothly.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect customers, teammates, and product.
• Take ownership of issues and store execution with an owner/operator mindset.
• Leverage retail tech to enhance customer experience and support operations.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled and participate in hiring/training.
