Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to support retail store technologies and POS equipment across various sites in the United States. The role requires installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, with travel to multiple customer locations as needed.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma with 4+ years' related experience; IT/technical certifications are a plus, and a strong customer-service orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience; IT/Technical degree preferred.
• Willing to travel 100% domestically; air travel may be necessary.
• Knowledge of PC technology, networks, flat panel TVs/monitors, cash registers/POS equipment.
• Able to follow instructions and communicate clearly; strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Travel within assigned territory or nationally to installations, relocations, modifications, and service delivery.
• Install and service retail POS equipment and related store systems at customer sites.
• Document installation activities and maintain records per Toshiba standards.
• Communicate status, issues, and customer satisfaction to stakeholders; support scheduling and logistics.
