Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, support, and repair Toshiba and non-TOSHIBA retail products in store environments. The role requires traveling across assigned territory and possibly nationwide to perform installations, upgrades, and servicing.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, document activities, and coordinate with customers to minimize operational disruptions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience; IT/Technical degree or certificate preferred.
• Willingness to travel 100% of the time domestically; air travel may be necessary for installations.
• Operational knowledge of personal computer technology, network infrastructure, and POS equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates in assigned territory and performs repairs and services on products; installs equipment in new/remodeled sites.
• Travels within territory or nationally to customer locations for installations or upgrades.
• Communicates status and issues with customers and teams; maintains documentation per Toshiba standards.
• Plans and schedules work; arranges travel cost-effectively; handles varying shifts including overtime when needed.
• Maintains trunk stock and performs other related duties as assigned.
