Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain retail store technologies and computer systems across client sites. You will perform installations, repairs, and on-site support for Toshiba and non-TOSHIBA products in retail and SMB environments.

This role requires 100% travel, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working varied shifts with overtime. You will document activities, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure customer satisfaction according to Toshiba standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience; IT/Technical degree or certificate preferred.
• Must be able to travel 100% of the time, domestic and/or air travel.
• Operational knowledge of PC technology, network infrastructure, flat panel TVs & monitors, POS equipment and retail devices.
• General knowledge of wall-to-wall IT service and support; ability to follow written/spoken directions.

Responsibilities

• Operates in assigned territory performing repairs and services on products; installs equipment in new/remodeled sites.
• Travel within territory or nationally to customer locations for installations, relocations, or modifications.
• Communicates status and customer satisfaction with management, peers, and customers; adheres to Toshiba service delivery methodology.
• Plans, prioritizes, and schedules work; arranges travel using company tools; adapts to schedule changes with minimal notice.
• Documents installation activities per Toshiba standards; maintains trunk stock to support customers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
